Ava

Shante is an amazing teacher. When I got Ava at 3 months old, she was very feisty and wouldn’t listen. My friend Lobo recommended Shante, and I started training with her in September 2022. By the first day, Shante had Ava sitting and going down, and she learned to give paw, sit, stay, spin, and received potty training tips. In just 6 weeks, Ava became well-behaved, and my partner even used what we learned with our other puppy, Kobe.

Lychee

I was unhappy with our previous trainer before we signed up with Shante and gave her a try. BEST DECISION EVER. Lychee was a very sassy but smart fur human when we first started. Always crying and barking during class sessions. However, Shante was able to earn my anxious puppy's trust and my pup is able to grasp the knowledge being taught to her. As of now, Shante is currently training my pup on a service dog training regime and I'm very happy we found a trainer like her.

Working with Ms. Shante was one of the best decisions I made for my golden retriever, Teddie. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly understands dogs and how they learn.

Thanks to her guidance and training methods, Teddie not only developed wonderful manners and confidence but eventually passed her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test — something we are so proud of. What I appreciated most was how she trained both the dog and the owner, giving us practical tools we still use every day.

Newton

Shante is a total lifesaver! When Newt decided to regress back into his stubborn puppy stage at the age of 2 years, she helped me set some structure and whip both of us back into shape! And when he became reactive after getting attacked she helped us get his confidence back!

We now pop in to help other pups during her sessions. Because of her help and patience, Newt now has so many titles under his belt! CGC, therapy dog, intermediate trick title, the list goes on! We don’t know what we would do without her!

Star

When I decided to get a puppy, I had NO idea how much work it would be. Shante came highly recommended and she did not disappoint!

From the moment we met, I knew she would get Star and I together. While we have a way to go, my pup and I have learned so much. Not only is Shante a dog trainer, she is an educator at heart.

Emme

I was shopping around for a trainer for Emme, my 8-pound ball of fluff. Our first encounter with Shante was cordial. I went somewhere else and observed, but was drawn back to Shante. I was concerned that Emme didn't know her name, and Shante gave me some free advice. That was it! I could see that she really cared about my girl! My little Emme isn't that shy little one now. She can now run with the big dogs because of Shante.

Spencer

For us, it started with buying our first puppy together, Spencer, a red mini-poodle who we thought was the calmest/sweetest puppy we had ever met. Very quickly, we found out that once the puppy got comfortable in his new home, that was when the craziness hit. So we started doing some at-home training, like probably what most new dog owners do. We decided to get some training supplies when we ran into Shante Flowers. Little did we know this was the best possible encounter we could have had when it came to Spencer. Mrs. Flowers' many years of experience in dog training were apparent in the first class we had.

Since then, 12 weeks of classes later, we have turned our very crazy puppy into a still-young pup with manners. We still rely on Mrs.Flowers to help us when we are having dog issues, but Spencer has come so far from where he was behavior-wise. Again, that chance interaction has led to the best decision we made for Spencer.
